What is a firmware update?

Firmware is the software that runs on your Feel Emotion Sensor and controls its functionality.

In each new firmware version, new improvements are added that are meant to improve your Feel Emotion Sensor’s behavior and performance.

A firmware update is the process of installing a new firmware version on your Feel Emotion Sensor. The process is divided into three stages, which are completed automatically once you press the update button on your app’s settings:

1. Downloading the new firmware version onto your phone.
2. Installing this firmware version onto your Feel Emotion Sensor.
3. Restarting the Feel Emotion Sensor in order to complete the update.

If, after the firmware update, the Feel Emotion Sensor does not seem to be working, press the button for about 5 seconds in order to re-activate it.
