Charging your Feel Emotion Sensor

The Feel Emotion Sensor is a digital therapeutic tool provided in support of this study, and therefore you should wear it as much as possible. As this could be the first device you have used as a monitoring tool, you may need some time to get used to wearing and charging it regularly. A single battery charge of the Feel Emotion Sensor will last for approximately 24 hours. The sensor also has Wake up / Sleep mode functions: assuming it is charged and connected to your phone, the sensor will wake up when you put it on (green and orange LED lights on the Feel Emotion Sensor will start flashing); similarly, a few seconds after you remove the sensor from your wrist, the green and orange LED lights will stop flashing. Please keep in mind that the battery of the sensor will be consumed even when the sensor is not worn, therefore taking it off will not save battery.

To charge your Feel Emotion Sensor, follow these steps:

1. Connect the Feel Emotion Sensor to the Feel charger by inserting the charger in the charging port.

2. Connect the Feel charger to a power source. The power source can be either a computer or a power outlet. For a power outlet, you will need to use your own USB wall power adapter.

3. Charge the Feel Emotion Sensor for about 1.5 hours. When you connect the Feel Emotion Sensor to the charger, the LED on the Feel Emotion Sensor should be lit and red. When the Feel Emotion Sensor is charging, the LED should remain red. Once the Feel Emotion Sensor has fully charged, the LED should turn green. If the LED on your Feel Emotion Sensor does not light up, you can try charging it from a different power outlet, or on your computer/laptop.

4. After the recommended charging time has passed, disconnect your Feel Emotion Sensor from the charger and connect it to the Feel app through the settings, if it is not already connected. The remaining battery level will appear on your screen.
